Finding a great coffee shop to work from is one of the best parts of being a digital nomad. Here is a list of my tried-and-true favorite coffee shops to work from in Miami. They have a combination of an inspiring ambiance, great WiFi, good coffee, matcha, and treats, and friendly staff that lets you be focused on your work for hours without interruption.
This is my favorite neighborhood coffee shop to work from in Miami. You can always find people on their laptops here and can stay for hours without anyone bothering you — working here is expected. The cozy vibes and great coffee/matcha make it the ideal focus space to get your creative juices flowing.
This is likely the most aesthetic coffee shop I’ve encountered in Miami. Suite Habana Cafe is located in the artsy neighborhood of Wynwood, a breeding ground for the entrepreneurial and digital nomad types. This coffee shop is a beautiful and inspiring space to work from for a few hours, and you will see people sitting on their laptops here without being bothered. Here you can expect great WiFi, friendly service, comfy seating, plenty of natural light to keep you awake, strong coffee/matcha, and delicious empanadas! Don’t forget to take a photo for Instagram.
This place is a popular brunch spot/restaurant in CDMX that just opened up a location in Brickell, Miami. While it’s not a coffee shop per se, they do offer coffee, matcha, juices, and small treats and have so much seating room inside and on the patio that you can treat it as one. I have worked from here for hours on several occasions without any issue as there is always room. The decor is amazing making for an inspiring place to get your creative juices flowing. If you get hungry, you can also order some delicious tacos to give you a boost for a few more hours of work!
Panther coffee has several locations around Miami, and they’re all great to work from. My personal favorites are the Wynwood and South Beach locations (by the Harbour, not the tourist area). Panther coffee has my favorite oat milk matcha in Miami, strong WiFi, and an overall chill/creative ambiance that attracts people with their laptop. You’ll find plenty of people working away behind their MacBooks, or sitting with other creatives discussing their next big entrepreneurial idea.
Pasión del cielo has several locations around Miami, with my favorites being Coral Gables, Midtown, and Dadeland. Here you can stay for hours working without anyone even giving you a peep, and can expect reliable WiFi and a cozy ambiance. The coffee and matcha here are great, and they also have yummy croissants and empanadas. However, my only complaint is that they don’t have oat milk so I have to get almond milk matcha lattes instead 🥲
